Inputting client information into public AI tools may breach attorney-client privilege and violate data protection regulations. Consumer-grade AI tools may retain, log, or use inputs for training. Enterprise tools with proper data processing agreements are essential.

Algorithmic Bias & Discrimination

AI systems trained on historical legal data can perpetuate and amplify existing biases in the justice system. Sentencing algorithms, hiring screening tools, and predictive policing systems have all demonstrated measurable racial, gender, and socioeconomic biases.
